Introducing refreshing new look to our bigger and better website
We're delighted to introduce you to our redesigned website. Here we will highlight work being done in support of Cuckstye / SCAG (Stop Cuckstye Action Group), and will feature news and events connected to efforts to preserve the look and feel of Cuckfield – one of the Society's main aims.
Our new website also serves as a hub for local clubs, activities and parish information, including, among others, the Museum, Independent State of Cuckfield, Tennis Club, and the Parish Council. Instead of visiting several different websites, you can now access them all easily in one place.
Our new and improved website will continue to grow and more features will be added over time. If you'd like another organisation's site to be included, please email us at cuckfield.society@gmail.com.
New Membership info
A big thank you to everyone who has renewed their membership to The Cuckfield Society. Existing members will continue paying the same amount via standing order for now. After many years, however, an increase is needed. New memberships is now £15 for individuals and £20 for families.
If any existing members would like to increase their standing order, we would be most grateful. Your membership fees help us run the popular community events such as the Village Show, the Santa’s Grotto, the Best Dressed Window Competition, and to make donations to various charitable activities in the village.
Village Show - Save The Date
Planning is already underway for the next Village Show on September 5. All rules, classes, and information will be available soon and will be found in the Village Show section of this website.
Community Quiz
A regular quiz night is being held at the White Harte in Cuckfield. The next one is on March 16, 6.30pm for 7pm, restaurant side. You can play solo or team up with others on the evening. Entry is £5 per person, pay on the door. All funds go towards the Village Show.
Chance to chat
Cuckfield Baptist Church has started its popular coffee mornings for 2026. All are welcome every Friday between 10am and 12 noon. Free coffee, cake and cheese scones are available as well as the chance to chat.
