Planning guidelines to help protect village

The Cuckfield Society used to review all planning applications falling in the geographic area of Cuckfield. We decided, however, as this effectively became a full time job, to only focus on applications which threaten Cuckfield’s built heritage, its fabric and its setting.

These tend to be the planning applications for large plots of new housing, proposed changes to listed properties, High Street developments or major highways changes, such as the route of the Cuckfield bypass.

Standing together with the Parish Council, we believe we can ensure that the views of Cuckfield are heard at local and national level.
